Tip #11: Do Something Creative

    • Taking the time to do something creative can help with stress levels and can help you to be more relaxed.

    • Pick something you enjoy whether it be working on a DIY project around the house, reading a book that isn’t work or school related, cooking more, painting, doing crafts, etc.  

    • We often use the excuse that we don’t have the time to do any of that stuff because we are so busy.  Start small and schedule some time to be creative.  Notice how it can relax and help you to be less stressed.

    • So something that feels good

    • Read books - that aren’t work-related - spur creativity

    • Painting class
