Tip #7: Take 10 Minutes to Plan
Spending 10 minutes planning and organizing what lies ahead at the start of your week, could greatly reduce your stress, save you time, and improve success in your healthy habits.
It is one of the easiest things to do on a weekly basis to reduce stress.
Here are some things to plan:
- Plan out meals for the week - all 3 or the most challenging,
- Schedule when you are going to be physically active.
- Take time for mindfulness.
- Create your to do list.
Consider using a physical paper planner rather than a digital one. Clients who go back to using a physical paper planner say it helps them stay more organized, feel more in control, and feel less stressed.
