jar of salsa with lime and cilantro next to it

You can say I have become a salsa snob! Ever since I started making my own salsa about 5 years ago, I no longer buy salsa at the grocery store nor like the taste of them. Homemade is so easy to make and tastes incredible and fresh.

From the recipe below, you will see I am not an exact measure kind of girl. If you like it more spicy, you could substitute a jalapeño for crushed red pepper. One recipe fills up a half size mason jar about perfectly. It lasts for weeks in the fridge.

Try replacing your store bought salsa with this homemade version. I think this will become your go-to salsa.
