This is one of my most favorite parts about Thanksgiving dinner! This has been a part of our Thanksgiving meal for as long as I can remember. The only thing that I have changed over the years from my grandmother’s recipe that I use, is cutting the sugar in half.
This side dish is so fresh and bright and is super simple to make. It is a great addition to your plate to help break up the “heaviness” that can be Thanksgiving dinner.
Make this 1-2 days before you plan to serve it so you can get the best out of the flavors. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.
Cheers!
